MEP Electrical Designer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design lighting and power systems
  • Perform lighting calculations and circuit loading calculations
  • Completing energy code compliance documentation using U.S. DOE ComCheck software
  • Participate in coordination of meetings with design team members and clients
  • Correspond with vendors and contractors
  • Site survey and construction observation
  • Edit specifications and reviewing submittals

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Electrical Design of commercial or industrial buildings
  • Associates Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology or related field is preferred
  • Proficient in Autodesk REVIT is required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have keen attention to detail, excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
