We currently have openings for Electricians that are responsible for job functions related to maintaining production/packaging lines along with being held accountable for operation of all electric equipment and repair. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintenance and repair of motors
  • Maintenance on control boxes
  • Maintenance on PLC’s, variable speed drives etc.
  • Maintenance on starters
  • Run of conduit and wiring
  • Replacement of parts as needed
  • Installing and removal of machinery
  • Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
  • Maintain records and files
  • Housekeeping
  • Procedures for lockout/tag out
  • Clean up at the end of job
  • Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements.
  • Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in electrical
  • Good work history
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial environment preferred

  • Complete Apprenticeship program

  • GMP, Food Safety for Maintenance
